Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you might want to know about Ora, founding access, and how it all works.
Getting Started
What is Ora Bible?
Ora is an AI-native Bible study app that unites in one place what readers usually piece together across several: an AI study assistant grounded in Scripture, sermon tools, memory training, reading plans, wellness, a prayer wall, and a biblical timeline. Ora is Latin for “pray.”
Is Ora available yet?
Ora is opening to founding members in waves. Claim founding access to get in early, refer friends to move up the queue, and lock in founder pricing.
How is Ora different from other Bible apps?
Most apps do one thing well — free reading, audio, or devotionals. Ora combines AI-powered study depth, a habit system, sermon tools, wellness, and community in a single, beautifully designed app, with AI that stays grounded in Scripture.
Founding Access & Pricing
How does founding membership work?
When you claim founding access, you get a personal referral link. Every friend who joins through it moves you up the invite queue and unlocks rewards — an earlier wave, a founding-member badge, locked-in founder pricing, an extended trial, and a founder lifetime rate.
Is Ora free?
Ora is free to start — no credit card. Free includes the Bible reader, notes, highlights, bookmarks, the prayer wall, sermon journal, Verse of the Day with streaks, 10 AI generations a day, and 30 minutes of Listen Mode each month. Ora Pro unlocks unlimited AI, Listen Mode, premium audio, and advanced study tools.
What is founder pricing?
Founders get 50% off Ora Pro, forever — $4.99/month or $34.99/year (versus $9.99/month and $69.99/year). It auto-applies (code FOUNDER) for the first 30 days or first 500 members, and is locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel in one click, anytime. If you drop back to free, your notes, highlights, prayers, sermon journal, streaks, and reading history all stay put. You only lose Pro access, not your account or your data.
Features & AI
Can I trust the AI?
Ora's assistant is built to stay grounded in Scripture, cite the text, and be honest about what a passage does and doesn't say. It's designed to support your study — never to replace Scripture, prayer, or your church.
What can the AI study assistant do?
Ask questions about the passage you're reading and get clear, cited answers. Generate chapter deep-dives, Greek and Hebrew word studies, theological themes, devotionals, and small-group leader guides for any passage.
What are the sermon tools?
Listen Mode transcribes sermons and Bible studies live with a reference timeline. The Sermon Journal lets you log sermons, preachers, and topics, and the AI Sermon Review gives you a structured summary and takeaways.
Does Ora work for small groups and leaders?
Yes. Ora can generate a complete small-group leader guide for any passage, and the study workbook lets you upload PDFs and study guides to analyze with AI.
Platforms & Privacy
What devices does Ora support?
Ora is built for iPhone and iPad, with Android on the way, plus a web app for your desktop. Your notes, highlights, and progress sync across every device.
Do I need to be online?
An internet connection powers AI features and sync. Reading and core study features are designed to be smooth and fast on any device.
How do you handle my data?
Your study, notes, and prayers are yours. We'll publish a clear privacy policy at launch describing exactly what we store and how it's protected. We will never sell your personal data.
